Great North Rally 2018

Our annual charity cruise, the Great North Rally for 2018, is on Sunday 28th October 2018 and is raising money once again for Cystic Fibrosis NSW, in memory of club member Liam Wild who we lost to this in 2012 when he was just 28.

Last year we had an outstanding result in that we were able to raise $3165!!


This years event details:

WHEN: Sunday October 28th 2018 from 9:00am

WHERE: Starting at Thornleigh McDonalds, then to Tuggerah McDonalds rear carpark for the main meet area and raffle of prizes then on to lunch at Wollombi.


The Sydney crew will be meeting at Thornleigh McDonalds from 8:30am for a 9am departure to cruise together up the M1 (F3) to Tuggerah McDonalds.

For those coming from the North perhaps a meet up could be organized as well.

There will be a *voluntary* $5 per car donation which will get you a ticket in the lucky door prize, and we will be selling raffle tickets for many prizes we will have on the day.

In the past we have had many great prizes donated by generous club members and their friends, and this year will be no different.

Following the raffle we will head to Wollombi and Wollombi Tavern.

In regards to eating at the Tavern, there are also other options 2 mins up the road, as well as there is also a mass of grass at the tavern to bring some chairs and a rug, and some food of your own perhaps. There will obviously not be enough seating for everybody so I encourage you to throw a chair in just in case.

Please indicate here if you intend on eating at the pub so I can let them know beforehand.

After lunch you are free to leave when you wish and most head home via Broke and the Putty Rd to Windsor.

Perhaps, as it was the last couple of years, there may be some members that cannot attend but still wish to donate to Cystic Fibrosis in memory of Liam.

Please ensure that you have enough fuel before you leave Tuggerah, options for 98 Ron fuel are indicated below at Tuggerah, and there is now also another Woolies Caltex another 1km down the road towards Wyong from the BP

For those that require E85, just south of Tuggerah as you're heading up the F3 at Ourimbah is United.
