Great North Rally
Every year the Impreza WRX Club runs a charity fund raising event for Cystic Fibrosis NSW in memory of club member Liam Wild who lost his battle with this disease in 2012 at the age of 28.
The event, known as the "Great North Rally", consists of a raffle with thousands of dollars worth of prizes donated by club members and businesses who generously support this worthwhile cause. Following the raffle draw there is a cruise to Wollombi for lunch and socialising, many members continue on with a cruise down The Putty Road. It is a fantastic family day out and all Subaru owners are welcome, even if you are not a club member!
The 2017 Great North Rally took place on the 29th Oct with 42 cars turning out, over $4000 worth of raffle prizes and $2,755 raised for Cystic Fibrosis NSW! The weather was kind to us and it was a fantastic day out enjoying our cars and meeting like minded people.
Watch out for details of the 2018 Great North Rally later next year and we hope to see you there!!
